Crazy Time Overview
Crazy Time by Evolution is not a traditional slot — it is a live game show experience that has taken the online casino world by storm since its 2020 launch. Hosted by energetic live presenters in a purpose-built, colourful studio, Crazy Time combines the simplicity of a money wheel with four spectacular bonus games that can deliver wins of up to 25,000x your stake. It has become the single most popular live casino game among Irish players and continues to draw enormous audiences worldwide.
The core gameplay centres on a large spinning wheel with 54 segments. Players place bets on which number or bonus game the wheel will land on, and a live host spins the wheel in real time. A top slot above the wheel adds random multipliers to segments before each spin, which can dramatically increase payouts. The combination of live interaction, unpredictable multipliers, and four unique bonus rounds creates an experience unlike anything else in online gaming.
The Four Bonus Games
Coin Flip: The simplest bonus game presents two sides of a coin — red and blue — each with a random multiplier. The coin is flipped and whichever side lands face up awards its multiplier. Multiplier values can be boosted before the flip, making this straightforward game capable of delivering substantial payouts.
Pachinko: A physical Pachinko board drops a puck from the top, which bounces through pegs before landing in a multiplier slot at the bottom. If the puck lands on "DOUBLE," all values on the board are doubled and the puck drops again. Multiple doubles can stack, pushing multipliers to impressive heights before the final landing.
Cash Hunt: Players face a large screen filled with 108 random multipliers hidden behind symbols. You select one symbol before the reveal, and all multipliers are uncovered simultaneously. This is a game of pure luck and anticipation, with the potential for very large hidden multipliers.
Crazy Time: The flagship bonus round features an enormous virtual wheel with multipliers, doubles, and triples. The wheel spins and wherever the flapper stops determines your payout. If it lands on a double or triple segment, all values on the wheel are multiplied accordingly and the wheel spins again. This cascading multiplier effect is how the game reaches its maximum 25,000x payout, and it is where the most memorable Crazy Time moments occur.
Live Hosts and Atmosphere
What truly sets Crazy Time apart is the live production quality. Professional hosts keep the energy high with commentary, celebrations, and interaction with players via the live chat. The studio is a riot of colour and movement, with lighting effects that respond to game events. Each spin feels like a television game show moment, and the hosts' genuine reactions to big wins add an authenticity that pre-recorded games cannot match. Evolution rotates hosts throughout the day, ensuring the game runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Verdict
Crazy Time is a unique experience that blurs the line between casino gaming and entertainment television. The high volatility means you should expect plenty of small number wins between bonus rounds, but when a bonus game triggers — particularly the Crazy Time wheel or a well-multiplied Pachinko — the results can be extraordinary. The 95.5% RTP is lower than many online slots, which is standard for live game shows with high production costs. For Irish players seeking something different from traditional slots, Crazy Time offers unmatched entertainment value and the social atmosphere of a live casino floor, all from the comfort of home.

Crazy Time FAQ
Crazy Time is a live game show, not a traditional slot. It is hosted by a real presenter in a live studio, streamed to your device in real time. You place bets on a physical money wheel and interact via live chat. While it shares some mechanics with slots, such as bonus rounds and multipliers, it is fundamentally a live casino experience powered by Evolution's industry-leading streaming technology.
There is no guaranteed winning strategy for Crazy Time, as outcomes are determined by a physical wheel spin. The number segments (1, 2, 5, 10) appear most frequently and offer lower but more regular payouts. The four bonus games appear less often but deliver the highest potential wins. Many players cover multiple segments each spin to increase their chances of hitting, though this increases the total stake per round. Always play within your budget.
No, Crazy Time cannot be played in demo or free mode. As a live game show with real-time hosting and physical equipment, it requires real money bets. You can, however, watch other players' rounds before placing your first bet to get a feel for the gameplay and pace. The minimum bet starts from just €0.10 per segment.
Before each wheel spin, a top slot mechanism randomly selects one segment on the wheel and assigns it a multiplier (ranging from small values up to very large ones). If the wheel lands on that multiplied segment, your payout is increased by the multiplier amount. This adds an unpredictable element of excitement to every spin, as any segment could receive a massive boost. The top slot can also multiply bonus game wins, leading to some of the game's biggest recorded payouts.
